2. Project background

Xi’an Road Industry Park in Qingpu District, 10 square kilometers in area for investment,is close to Huaian city’s old industrial base. At present, 5 square kilometers of the industrial zone has been finished with supporting system like water, electricity, traffic, gas, communication devices. Pharmaceutical industry is one of the four dominant industries in the park. Jiangsu Tasly Diyi Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., as the company in the park, is invested by Tasly Group and occupies 200 mu in area. It is a high-tech pharmaceutical enterprise undertaking medicine research, manufacturing and marketing with an annual output of 50 thousand tons of Modified Starch and six million tons of Glucurolactone. It is the biggest production base of Glucurolactone in the world.
